Lift Laugh Log Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Lift Laugh Log handles information when you use the app. Lift Laugh Log is developed by Courtney Douglas in Canada.

1. Information You Provide

You may enter information such as workouts, exercises, sets, reps, weights, workout history, food and drink entries, calories, nutrient information, goals, achievements and app preferences. This is the information Lift Laugh Log needs to provide its tracking features.

2. Sign in with Apple

Lift Laugh Log uses Sign in with Apple. Apple may provide the app with a stable identifier for your account. On your initial authorization, and depending on what you choose to share, Apple may also provide your name and email address.

3. How Information Is Stored

The app uses SwiftData to store your workout, nutrition and preference data locally on your device. It uses Apple's private iCloud and CloudKit database to synchronize that information between your devices. Lift Laugh Log does not operate a separate backend that stores your workout or nutrition records.

4. How Information Is Used

Your information is used to provide the features you choose to use, including recording activity, showing your history, calculating progress and achievements, remembering preferences and synchronizing your data through Apple's services.

5. Advertising and Tracking

Lift Laugh Log does not currently include third-party advertising, sell your personal information or use your data for cross-app behavioural advertising or tracking.

6. Analytics

Lift Laugh Log does not currently use third-party analytics.

7. Apple Services

Sign in with Apple, iCloud and CloudKit are provided by Apple. Your use of those services and Apple's handling of related information are also governed by Apple's applicable privacy terms.

8. Retention and Deletion

Information remains on your device until you remove it or delete the app. Information synchronized to your private CloudKit database may remain after the app is deleted and may synchronize back if you reinstall Lift Laugh Log using the same iCloud account. You can use the account and data deletion controls inside Lift Laugh Log to request or manage deletion of your app data.

9. Security

Lift Laugh Log relies on the protections provided by iOS, iCloud and CloudKit for local storage and synchronization. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Children

Lift Laugh Log is not designed specifically for children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app without appropriate permission, please contact us.

11. International Users

Lift Laugh Log is developed in Canada. Apple may process information in other countries as part of providing its services. The laws in those places may differ from those where you live.

12. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as Lift Laugh Log changes. The updated date at the top of this page will show when the policy was last revised.
