Lift Laugh Log Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use Lift Laugh Log. By using the app, you agree to use it responsibly and in accordance with these terms.

1. Purpose of the App

Lift Laugh Log is a fitness and nutrition tracking tool. It helps you record workouts, food and related progress for your own reference.

2. Not Medical Advice

The app does not provide medical, nutritional, physiotherapy, mental-health or other professional healthcare advice. Information in the app is general and should not replace advice from a qualified professional who understands your circumstances.

3. Exercise Safety

Exercise involves risk. You are responsible for deciding whether an exercise, weight or level of intensity is appropriate for you. Stop if you feel unwell or experience pain, and seek qualified help when needed.

4. Nutrition Information

Nutrition information in Lift Laugh Log is largely entered by users and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Check product labels or consult a qualified professional when accuracy is important.

5. Accounts

Lift Laugh Log may use Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining access to your Apple account and for activity associated with your use of the app.

6. User Data

You are responsible for the information you enter. Your data may be stored locally and synchronized through Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services. Apple's terms also apply to your use of those services.

7. Availability and Data Loss

We aim to keep Lift Laugh Log useful and available, but uninterrupted access, error-free operation and successful synchronization cannot be guaranteed. Keep any separate records you consider essential.

8. Optional Purchases

Optional support-style in-app purchases may be offered in the future. Any purchase terms and price will be shown before you buy, and Apple's App Store payment terms will apply.

9. Acceptable Use

Do not misuse the app, attempt to disrupt it, access it in an unauthorized way, reverse engineer it where prohibited by law, or use it to violate another person's rights or applicable law.

10. Intellectual Property

Lift Laugh Log, including its design, software, name and original content, belongs to Courtney Douglas or applicable licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of that material to you. You retain ownership of information you create and enter.

11. Disclaimer

Lift Laugh Log is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise that it will meet every need or that every result, calculation or user-entered value will be accurate.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Courtney Douglas will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, Lift Laugh Log. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Changes

The app and these terms may change over time. Material updates to these terms will be reflected by the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada. Mandatory consumer protections and other rights that apply where you live remain unaffected.
